Welcome to the first release candidate for phpMyAdmin 2.6.4.
Thanks to MySQL AB for publishing this chat interview I had last week with Arjen Lentz, community relations manager at MySQL AB. The interview is available at http://dev.mysql.com/tech-resources/interviews/marc-delisle.html
We got bug reports from phpMyAdmin users on a 64-bit platform who are using the mysqli extension. There is a problem with PHP 5.0.4 in this case, and we want to thank the mysqli team for a quick fix which will appear in the next PHP version. Details are available at
https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1243853&group_id=23067&atid=377408
This is patch level 1 for 2.6.3.
For users of the mysqli extension, a problem exists in phpMyAdmin 2.6.3 and was fixed in 2.6.3-pl1. We regret this unfortunate bug.
Welcome to phpMyAdmin 2.6.3. It's mostly a bug fix release, but we added a few new features and two new languages.
Thanks to Michal Cihar, we now have a translation stats page at http://www.cihar.com/phpMyAdmin/stats/translations.php
We are seeking for translators to help maintain the translations that need the most work, let's say those who have under 80% of the messages translated.
See FAQ 7.2 in Documentation.html for the recommended procedure, and thanks for your cooperation.
Welcome to this first release candidate for phpMyAdmin 2.6.3. It's mostly a bug fix release, but we added a few new features and two new languages.
This is patch level 1 for phpMyAdmin 2.6.2, containing fixes mostly for MySQL 5.0 and 4.1 issues.
